Score is old zinc die-cast scrap: mixed zamak castings recovered from end-of-life vehicles, appliances and hardware — carburettors, door handles, toys and trim. It may carry natural surface oxidation but must be free of excessive iron inserts, aluminium, lead and non-metallic attachments.

Saves covers new, unplated zinc die-cast scrap: production runners, sprues, rejects and offcuts direct from die-casting plants. Clean, bright, single-source zamak with known alloy pedigree, remelting at high recovery with minimal flux demand.

Scabs is new plated zinc die-cast: chrome- or nickel-plated production castings and rejects, such as bathroom fittings and automotive brightwork. The plating is accounted for in pricing; material must remain free of iron inserts and non-zinc castings.

Scoot is zinc die-cast automotive grilles: plated zamak grilles and trim recovered from vehicles, carrying chrome plating and occasional steel or plastic attachments. Traded on recovered zinc content after deduction for plating and inserts.

Screen is new zinc clippings and offcuts: clean rolled zinc from production, free of coatings, iron and non-metallics. A high-recovery feed for zinc oxide and secondary smelting.

Seal is continuous-line galvanizing slab zinc top dross: skimmed from the galvanizing bath surface, with metallic zinc content typically 85-92%. Traded on assayed zinc content, free of skimmings, ash, flux and excessive chlorides.

Seam is continuous-line galvanizing slab zinc bottom dross: the denser, higher-iron dross settling at the base of the galvanizing bath. Priced on assayed metallic zinc below top dross, and traded to smelters equipped to recover it.
