Aluminium Al13

Taint/Tabor is clean, mixed old alloy aluminium sheet: sidings, gutters, cladding and general sheet of two or more alloys. It must be free of foil, venetian blinds, castings, hair and screen wire, containers, radiator shells, aircraft sheet, oil and excessive dirt.

Taboo is new, clean, mixed low-copper aluminium clippings and solids, minimum 0.015 inch thick and free of the 2000 and 7000 alloy series. Clean production offcuts that remelt at high recovery with predictable chemistry.

Tale is clean, low-copper aluminium siding, painted on one or two sides, free of plastic or fibre backing, iron and dirt. A consistent painted-sheet feed for secondary smelters where the coating is accounted for on the melt.

Toto is the cleanest traded extrusion grade: new and old 6063 aluminium extrusion, no more than 10% painted and no more than 10% 6061, free of thermal break, steel, plastic and zinc corner joints. A near-primary feed that remelts directly into billet.

Tutu is dealer-grade old extruded aluminium of a single alloy family (6063, 6061 or 7075 as declared), carrying more paint, attachments and mixed profile than Toto. A workhorse extrusion feed traded on declared alloy and cleanliness.

Tata is new production extrusion offcuts direct from extruders: clean, single-alloy, bare profile with known pedigree, remelting at very high recovery. Traded on plant provenance and alloy.

Tense covers mixed aluminium castings: automotive and machinery castings of two or more alloys, free of iron over agreed limits, brass and zinc inserts, oil and grease. A core feed for secondary foundry alloys such as LM24 and ADC12.

Troma is clean single-piece aluminium auto and truck wheels of a single alloy family (typically A356), free of steel, lead wheel-weights, valve stems, tyres and grease. One of the cleanest, most consistent casting feeds in the market; chromed wheels are segregated by agreement.

Trump is clean aluminium auto castings — cylinder heads, housings and brackets — free of iron, dirt, brass and non-metallics beyond agreed limits. A dependable secondary foundry feed traded on cleanliness and free-iron content.

Talon is new pure EC (electrical conductor) grade aluminium wire and cable, minimum 99.45% Al, free of hair wire, screen wire, iron, insulation and attachments. The highest-purity aluminium scrap grade, melting directly back into conductor applications.

Tann is new mixed aluminium wire and cable of assorted alloys, bare and free of insulation, carrying more alloy variation than EC Talon. Traded on declared cleanliness and melt recovery.

Twang is insulated aluminium wire and cable, priced on recovery percentage by cable type. Assessed on insulation ratio and aluminium yield, and traded to granulation and separation plants.

Teens is segregated aluminium borings and turnings of a single alloy, magnet-cleaned and controlled for free iron, oil and moisture. Sold subject to sampling and melt recovery, with fines and oxidation controlled.

Telic is mixed aluminium borings and turnings of two or more alloys: machine-shop swarf traded to agreed limits on free iron, oil, moisture and non-metallics. A cost-effective smelter and deox feed subject to sample melt.

UBC is baled used beverage cans (ISRI Taldon): clean aluminium cans in the 3004/5182 body and lid alloys, free of steel cans, plastic, moisture and dirt, baled to mill-standard densities. A closed-loop grade that becomes new can sheet in weeks. Also traded shredded (Talcred) and densified (Taldack).

Twitch is floated fragmentizer aluminium: shredded aluminium recovered from Zorba by sink-float media separation, typically 90%+ metallics with a cast/wrought mix. A key commodity connecting shredders to secondary smelters, priced on metal content and cast-to-wrought ratio.

Tweak is fragmentizer aluminium scrap direct from automobile shredders, before dense-media upgrading to Twitch. Traded on metallics content and contamination, it is the raw shredded aluminium fraction of the shredder downstream.

Zorba is shredded mixed non-ferrous metal from fragmentizer downstream systems: predominantly aluminium, with free copper, brass, zinc, stainless and wire. Graded by metal content and grain size (e.g. Zorba 90), it is one of the most actively traded scrap commodities in the world.

Talk is the ISRI code word for aluminium-copper radiators: aluminium fins on copper tubing, recovered from automotive air-conditioning condensers and heat exchangers. Shipments must be clean and free of brass tubing, iron and other foreign material, and are priced on their combined aluminium and copper value.

Secondary aluminium remelt ingot cast to standard foundry alloys — ADC12, LM6, LM24 and to specification — with spectro analysis per heat. A clean, ready-to-charge form for die casters and foundries.
