Honey is yellow brass scrap: castings, rolled sections, rod, sheet, tube and plumbing fittings in yellow brass composition, nominally 65% copper and 35% zinc. Shipments must be free of manganese-bronze, aluminium-bronze, iron and heavily plated material beyond agreed limits.

Ivory is yellow brass castings: cast yellow brass hardware, valve bodies and fittings, free of iron, aluminium and manganese bronze. A consistent ingot-maker feed traded on yellow brass composition.

Label is new brass clippings and offcuts in yellow composition (≈65% Cu / 35% Zn): clean, unalloyed beyond specification and free of iron, excessive oil and non-metallics. Consistent feed for brass rod and sheet production.

Noble is new yellow brass rod ends and cut-offs from machining and forging, clean and of known composition, free of iron and non-metallics. A premium, low-oxidation feed for rod and ingot producers.

Ebony is red brass composition solids, the 85-5-5-5 family: nominally 85% copper with roughly 5% each of zinc, tin and lead. Sourced from valves, fittings, pump bodies and machinery bronze, red brass is the highest-copper brass grade and prices accordingly.

Parch is manganese bronze solids: high-tensile brass propellers, marine fittings and heavy castings alloyed with manganese, iron and aluminium. Segregated from yellow and red brass and traded on its distinct composition.

Engel is machinery or hard brass solids: bearing and machinery bronzes carrying tin and lead, recovered from industrial equipment. Traded on assayed composition as a bearing-bronze and ingot feed.

Grape is cocks and faucets: mixed brass and bronze plumbing fittings — taps, valves and cocks — carrying chrome plating, and often steel and zinc attachments. Priced on recovered brass content after deduction for plating and inserts.

Some bronzes have no dedicated ISRI code word — aluminium bronze, gunmetal (LG2/LG4) and phosphor bronze among them. We trade these on laboratory assay and sample against the specific alloy, so their tin, aluminium, nickel and lead value is properly captured rather than lost in a mixed grade.

Night is yellow brass rod turnings: machining swarf from brass rod and bar, in yellow composition, controlled for free iron, oil and moisture. Traded on assayed copper and zinc content with agreed deductions.

Nomad is mixed yellow brass turnings from castings and fittings, carrying more alloy variation than rod turnings. Sold subject to sample and melt recovery, with free iron and moisture controlled.

Erin is machinery or hard brass borings: swarf from bearing and machinery bronze machining, tin and lead bearing. Traded on assay with deductions for oil, moisture and free iron.

Lace is clean fired 70/30 cartridge brass shell cases without primers: certified free of live ammunition and primers, iron and foreign material. Cartridge brass (C26000, 70% copper / 30% zinc) is prized for deep-draw quality and consistent composition.

Lady is clean fired 70/30 cartridge brass shell cases with primers still in place: certified free of live rounds and bullets, iron and foreign material. Priced slightly below Lace to reflect primer removal, and moved under the same certification.

Melon is brass pipe and tube in yellow composition (≈65% Cu / 35% Zn), free of plated, soldered and iron-attached material beyond specification limits. A clean tube feed for mills and ingot makers.

Pales is brass condenser and heat-exchanger tube, free of finning, iron tube-plates and excessive deposits beyond agreed limits. Admiralty compositions are declared and, where aluminium-brass, traded as Pallu.

Pallu is aluminium-brass condenser tube (C68700 family), the corrosion-resistant marine and power-plant tube alloy carrying around 2% aluminium. Segregated from plain brass tube because the aluminium changes how it must be melted, and traded on declared composition.

Secondary brass and bronze ingot cast to specification — high-tensile brass, DZR, gunmetal (LG2) and standard yellow brass — with analysis per heat. A clean charge form for foundries and rod producers.
